The Implant Room Supply Chain Manager ensures the efficient and organized management of the hospital's implant room inventory and related supplies. This position requires a meticulous and highly organized individual who can oversee the daily operations of the hospital's Implant storeroom, and maintain accurate inventory records. The Implant Room Supply Chain Manager is responsible for maintaining compliance with relevant regulations and standards, and for coordinating with suppliers to ensure the availability of essential items. The Implant Room Supply Chain Manager supervises implant room staff, and/or occasionally provides coverage for a supervisor or subordinate. The Implant Room Supply Chain Manager works closely and collaboratively with medical staff in the Operating room, as well as outside vendors to oversee and provide accurate and timely distribution of necessary supplies critical for patient care.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES (including but not limited to):
Maintain an accurate and up-to-date inventory of all supplies and equipment in the Implant Room.
Monitor stock levels, anticipate supply needs, and reorder items as necessary.
Implement a first-in, first-out (FIFO) system to ensure the use of older supplies before newer ones.
Coordinate with various hospital departments to fulfill supply requests and ensure the timely and accurate distribution of supplies.
Ensure that requested supplies meet quality and safety standards.
Inspect incoming supplies to ensure they meet the hospital’s quality and safety standards.
Identify and report any damaged, expired, or recalled items.
Implement and maintain proper storage and labeling practices.
Establish and maintain strong working relationships wit suppliers to guarantee the reliability of the supply chain.
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements, including FDA, OSHA, and hospital policies.
Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, sock movement, and supply distribution.
Supervise implant room staff, including scheduling, training, and performance evaluation.
Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
Develop and implement emergency procedures for supply management during crises or disasters.
Participate in disaster preparedness drills and training.
Ability to lift and move heavy boxes and supplies.
Extended periods of standing, walking, and reaching.
EDUCATION:
High School Graduate or Equivalent is required.
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE:
1-3 years of work experience is required.
1-3 years of supervisory/management experience is required.

Pay Range:
$72,800.00 USD - $97,979.00 USDThe pay range listed for this position is the annual base salary range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time. Actual compensation is determined based on several factors, that may include seniority, education, training, relevant experience, relevant certifications, geography of work location, job responsibilities, or other applicable factors permissible by law.
