Job Description

As a Security Officer Access Control Patrol in Lake Mary, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a financial institution, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, help deter security-related incidents, manage access control and badge activities, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and clients at a financial institution location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document activities as required.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of office areas, entrances, parking areas, and the property perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization according to site procedures, and maintain accurate logs and reports.
• Support a professional environment by communicating clearly with site personnel, following post orders, and escalating security-related issues through established channels.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
