Pay: $21/HR
Hours: 24-36 hours / Must have Flexible Availability
The Spirit of the Position:
A Customer Service Agent is most customers’ first point of contact for communication when an issue arises. The Customer Service Agent must provide appropriate solutions with compassion for difficulties at the entry/exit columns or pay on foot stations. Creating rapport with patron and employee with impressionable service standards. Answering phone and intercom calls, and if needed, noting messages to be relayed to Management. Assisting Bookkeepers with parking accounts when requested. Releasing Key Cards and Validations to employer management team or employee with their ID coming for sign out of key card. Receiving Key Cards for Subscription termination.
Principal Job Duties:
• Knowledgeable of garage directions and how to find lost vehicles based on customer description Garage).
• Providing positive impressionable service to all patrons.
• Ability to communicate with staff with provided facility technology.
• Multitasking office demands of telephone, intercom, window visitors and documentation on multiple logs.
• Adheres to rules of conduct, policies, and procedures.
• Operate SKIDATA and assist customers over the intercoms and phones.
• Logging information of patrons and employees on Gate Vend/Exception logs as needed.
• Logging SKIDATA errors on Controller logs as needed.
• Taking messages for Bookkeepers/Management and documenting information precisely.
• Communicate with the Technicians (standard calls relaying any error shown in Control Center)
• Communicates with operations staff to stay knowledgeable of garage flow.
• Filing documents in chronological order.
• Light office cleaning/sanitation for general upkeep.
• Assisting Bookkeepers looking into accounts or parkers.
• Assisting patrons at the Parking Office.
• Monthly Safety Training from the company.
• Special assignments when requested by Supervisors/Management
Education:
- High school diploma or GED required. College degree preferred.
Experience:
- Strong customer service experience.
- Strong understanding of computer systems.
- Call center experience is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, Power Point, and Outlook.
Skills:
- Ability to communicate professionally and effectively.
- Excellent phone, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to speak, read, and comprehend the English language.
- Bilingual abilities are preferred but not required.
- Must be open to feedback, differing opinions, and other points of view.
- Demonstrates a sense of urgency and timeliness.
- Demonstrates the ability to seek improvement.
- Excellent teambuilding and interpersonal skills.
Physical Demands: Ability to lift, push, and pull at least 10 pounds.
