Position Description:

The University of Louisville, Department of Radiology, Body Imaging Section, is seeking a BC/BE, fellowship-trained or experienced academic radiologist and will be filled at the Assistant/Associate/Professor (open rank) level on a full-time basis with rank commensurate with experience.

Responsibilities for the Body Imaging section at the University of Louisville include supervision and training of radiology residents, fellows, and medical students. The Body Imaging section covers a busy workload of inpatient and outpatient cross-sectional and radiographic imaging. Imaging is concentrated in trauma, oncology, inpatient and routine outpatient exams.

We cover a diverse group of facilities, including a level one trauma center, a comprehensive stroke center, a transplant center, and community hospitals.

This position primarily follows an 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. schedule, Monday through Friday.  Weekend calls are shared equally between faculty.  No shift coverage.

Conference Participation: Multidisciplinary conferences. Quality and Safety Conferences.

Research: While optional, if interested, the desired candidate will have strong research record of publications or other evidence of scholarly activity.

Required Qualifications: Medical Degree or equivalent, eligibility for Kentucky Medical License, and ABR certified or eligible.
