Description
Our client is a large 5* resort in Bali with extensive MICE facilities, including +/- 20 meeting rooms and a large ballroom for major events.
This role will be focused primarily on operations, while working closely with the Events Sales team and other relevant departments to ensure smooth and effective overall Event operations.
The candidate must be fluent in spoken Mandarin. Written Mandarin is a + point, but not mandatory.

Profile
• 5* resort / hotel experience
• Mandarin speaking
• Strong experience managing large scale events
• Strong operational leadership and people management skills
• Excellent event planning, coordination and execution skills
• Strong knowledge of banquet, conference and event operations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong client and stakeholder management skills
• Excellent English, both spoken and written
• Strong problem solving and decision making skills
• Ability to lead, motivate and develop a large and diverse team
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail
• Hands on, proactive and adaptable
• Outgoing, confident, and able to remain composed under pressure
• Professional, polished and guest-focused
• Results oriented
• Computer literate
