POSITION SUMMARY

The Rental Fleet Service Agent is responsible for ensuring vehicles are prepared, positioned, and available to meet customer demand. Depending on operational needs, employees may be assigned to vehicle preparation or vehicle delivery and expediting functions throughout their shift. This role supports fleet readiness through efficient vehicle movement, quality preparation standards, accurate documentation, and safe operation while maintaining the highest standards of customer service and operational excellence. Employees assigned to this position are expected to perform both vehicle preparation and vehicle delivery/expediting functions. Daily assignments may vary based on operational needs, staffing levels, flight schedules, and customer demand.


CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

  

Vehicle Preparation

  • Clean, sanitize, vacuum, wash, and fuel vehicles to company cleanliness and presentation standards.
  • Inspect vehicles to ensure they are customer-ready prior to release.
  • Verify required equipment, accessories, and documentation are present before placing vehicles into service.
  • Maintain quality standards that reflect the company's commitment to customer satisfaction.   

Vehicle Inspection & Documentation

  • Perform routine inspections to identify vehicle damage, cleanliness concerns, or maintenance needs.
  • Record detailed video documentation before and after rentals to accurately document vehicle condition.
  • Report vehicle damage, accidents, incidents, or maintenance concerns promptly and accurately.
  • Assist with minor operational checks such as tire pressure and fluid level inspections when assigned.   

Vehicle Delivery & Fleet Expediting

  • Transport vehicles between the Customer Ready Center (CRC), airport, service facilities, and other company locations to meet operational demand.
  • Prioritize vehicle movement to minimize customer wait times and maximize fleet utilization.
  • Capture vehicle movement and delivery information using company mobile applications.
  • Coordinate with counter operations and fleet personnel to ensure vehicles are available for scheduled reservations.
  • Safely operate company vehicles while complying with all traffic laws and company safety policies.   

Fleet Operations

  • Assist with vehicle staging and inventory movement to maximize fleet availability.
  • Maintain awareness of daily reservation demand and operational priorities.
  • Support airport and service center operations through efficient fleet coordination.
  • Assist other operational departments during staffing shortages, emergency operations, severe weather events, or other business disruptions.
  • Perform other duties reasonably assigned by management to support fleet operations. 

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Must possess and maintain a valid, unexpired driver's license.
  • Must possess and maintain a clean driving record.
  • Must be at least 25 years of age (insurance requirement)
  • Ability to safely operate company vehicles.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. 
  • Ability to accurately document vehicle condition and operational information.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with team members.
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift up to 50 pounds, and perform physical work throughout the shift.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
