WORK EXPERIENCE (state minimum number of years required and field)
- Minimum 3-7 years of experience in C/C++/Fortran programming
- Experience in CAD/CAE graphical software development
- Experience with MVC based GUI development such as QT
- Experience of software development and debugging on Windows & Linux platforms.
- Experience of working in graphics (OpenGL, VTK)
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Strong in programming concepts in C++
- Exposure to CAD/CAE software tools and graphics knowledge (OpenGL, VTK)
- Good in GUI programming concepts such as QT
- Knows a scripting language - Python or Perl
- Good Aptitude
- Good Academics
Responsibilities
- Develops moderately complex software in C, C++, Qt in CAE domain following set coding standards and in accordance with applicable software development methodology and release processes
- Utilizes software engineering tools such as configuration management systems, build processes, and debuggers in the software development process
- Works independently to creates and executes designs for new functionality as part of a software project
- Fixing issues/defects in the software
- Providing technical information for writing user documents, help and guides
