We are looking for a Network Lab Engineer to strengthen our team within secure infrastructure and industrial technology.

What will you be doing in this role?
As a Network Lab Engineer, you will play a key role in supporting, operating, and continuously improving laboratory environments and infrastructure solutions used for industrial and operational technology systems.
You will contribute to the development of secure, reliable, and efficient platforms that support HMH's products, services, and simulator environments.
Working closely with experienced colleagues across engineering and operations, you will help ensure that our laboratory and simulator infrastructure remains stable, secure, and fit for future challenges.
In this role, you will:
Support projects and simulator environments throughout their full lifecycle, from initiation to completion.
Monitor and follow up on orders, hardware deliveries, technical drawings, and simulator equipment.
Develop and maintain spare-part configurations and inventory information.
Assist with the setup, operation, maintenance, and improvement of laboratory facilities.
Contribute to improving the stability, availability, and efficiency of infrastructure platforms.
Support initiatives related to cybersecurity, reliability, and operational resilience.
Participate in troubleshooting and resolving infrastructure-related issues.
Produce clear and structured technical documentation for products, services, and work processes.
Participate in risk assessments and continuous improvement activities.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support development, testing, and validation activities.
Contribute to the development of solutions that support HMH's products and services.
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for a proactive and hands-on professional who enjoys combining practical laboratory work with infrastructure and networking technologies. You are curious, solution-oriented, and motivated by working in environments where reliability, security, and continuous improvement are important.
We believe you will thrive in this role if you have experience with several of the following:
Network infrastructure, industrial networks, or IT/OT environments.
Laboratory, testing, simulator, or technical support environments.
Hardware installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
Technical documentation and work process improvement.
Infrastructure monitoring and system maintenance.
Working with equipment, components, and spare-part management.
Risk awareness and commitment to safe and secure operations.
Collaboration across technical disciplines and project teams.
