About the Role:

This role will shape and execute people strategies across multiple manufacturing sites, partnering closely with business leaders and regional/global HR teams. The role offers significant leadership scope across talent, employee relations, organizational development, workforce planning, and HR operations, with the opportunity to directly influence culture, productivity, and business performance.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the overall People & Culture strategy for Philippine manufacturing operations, aligning HR priorities with business and workforce objectives.
  • Partner with plant and functional leaders to provide strategic HR guidance and translate business needs into effective people initiatives.
  • Lead and develop the local HR team, ensuring responsive and value-adding HR support across manufacturing sites.
  • Oversee Talent Acquisition and Workforce Planning, including critical hiring, university partnerships, and external talent networks.
  • Drive Talent Management, Succession Planning, and Organizational Development in partnership with HR Centers of Excellence.
  • Lead initiatives related to Performance Management, employee engagement, communication, and organizational effectiveness.
  • Oversee Compensation & Benefits programs in partnership with COE teams, ensuring alignment with company policies and statutory requirements.
  • Lead Employee Relations, including grievance handling, conflict resolution, disciplinary matters, misconduct investigations, and domestic inquiries.
  • Advise employees and management on HR policies, employment practices, and relevant labor and legal considerations.
  • Serve as the HR lead for labor, ethics, product, and statutory compliance audits, ensuring appropriate controls and corrective actions.
  • Oversee data privacy and employee information governance, ensuring proper documentation, storage, retention, and handling of employee data.
  • Build strong relationships across local management, employees, functional leaders, and regional/global HR stakeholders to support business priorities.
 

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Psychology, Business, or a related discipline.
  • 15+ years of HR experience, including 10+ years in HR leadership, management, or senior HRBP roles.
  • Strong experience as an HR generalist/HR business partner with broad exposure across Talent Acquisition, Employee Relations, Performance Management, Organizational Development, Compensation & Benefits, and labor compliance.
  • Proven experience leading HR strategies and initiatives in support of business and operational objectives.
  • Hands-on experience in the electronics or semiconductor manufacturing industry.
  • Experience working within a multinational organization or matrix environment.
  • Strong leadership, people management, stakeholder influence, and relationship-building capabilities.
  • Strong knowledge of Philippine labor practices, employee relations, and HR compliance.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, decision-making, and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to balance strategic HR leadership with hands-on operational execution.
  • High level of integrity, accountability, and a results-oriented approach.
 

Good to Have Qualifications:

  • Experience managing industrial/labor relations and working with employee or labor organizations.
  • Experience liaising with government agencies and external regulatory bodies.
  • Professional HR certification.
  • Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience supporting multiple manufacturing sites or complex plant operations.
  • Exposure to regional/global HR transformation or organizational change initiatives.
