Receive, unload, inspect, and verify incoming materials against packing slips, purchase orders, or system documentation.
Move materials between receiving, warehouse, production, assembly, staging, and shipping locations.
Pick and deliver materials to production based on production orders, Kanban signals, replenishment requirements, or other material requests.
Replenish point-of-use and production storage locations to maintain adequate material availability.
Perform accurate inventory and material movement transactions in SAP or other warehouse/inventory management systems.
Execute goods receipts, goods issues, transfer postings, stock transfers, and other required inventory transactions.
Store materials in designated locations according to established warehouse and material-handling standards.
Verify part numbers, quantities, storage locations, and material condition before completing material movements.
Support cycle counting, inventory audits, and annual physical inventory activities.
Investigate and report inventory discrepancies, damaged materials, incorrect quantities, or location errors.
Prepare, stage, package, and label materials for internal movement or outbound shipment as required.
Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, carts, tuggers, and other material-handling equipment safely and according to company requirements.
Maintain FIFO and other inventory-control requirements where applicable.
Maintain clean, organized, and clearly identified storage and staging areas.
Follow established 5S, Lean Manufacturing, and visual-management standards.
Identify opportunities to improve material flow, reduce unnecessary movement, eliminate waste, and improve inventory accuracy.
Follow all safety procedures, including requirements for personal protective equipment and powered industrial equipment.
Communicate material shortages, inventory discrepancies, production interruptions, and other issues to the appropriate personnel.
Coordinate with Production, Purchasing, Planning, Logistics, Quality, and Warehouse personnel to resolve material-related issues.
Perform additional material-handling and logistics duties as assigned
Education/Experience
High school diploma or GED, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
Previous warehouse, manufacturing, logistics, inventory control, or material-handling experience preferred.
Ability to accurately read part numbers, labels, production documentation, and inventory information.
Basic computer and data-entry skills.
