Description

Description

Camp is calling. This isn't just a summer job, it's a mission.

Spend your summer everywhere at once. As a Utility Staff member, you'll jump in wherever camp needs you most, from the dining hall to the waterfront to the ranch, and see more of how this place runs than almost anyone else.

If you're looking for something that actually matters, not just a paycheck, this is it.

What You'll Do

  • Assist across all areas of camp, including the Camp Store, Dining Hall, Housekeeping, Gardening, Chapel, and Science Center
  • Support program activities, Rec events, and Waterfront stations
  • Provide cabin and village support and assist with camper care
  • Help with ranch grooming and animal feeding
  • Take camper photos for media
  • Fill gaps wherever they open up and bring energy, flexibility, and a servant's heart
  • Tackle whatever comes your way, since no two days are the same

What You Get

  • $275/week + housing and meals included
  • Exposure to every department at camp, and a clear look at what you want to do next
  • Live on-site with a built-in community
  • Adaptability and work ethic that stand out on a resume
  • A summer that impacts lives, including your own

Important Role Details

  • This is a live-in, residential role
  • Assignments change daily and sometimes hourly based on where camp needs help
  • Requires active participation in a Christian ministry environment

Requirements

What We're Looking For

  • A professing Christian with a personal faith
  • Adaptable and upbeat, with a willingness to go where you're needed
  • Strong work ethic and follow-through without close supervision
  • Interest in working with youth
  • Willingness to be fully engaged in a live-in summer camp environment

Physical Requirements

  • Able to lift and move up to 50 pounds
  • Able to work outdoors in hot and humid conditions for extended periods
  • Able to stand and move for extended periods

Summer Schedule

  • Staff Training: June 1 – June 12
  • Camp Sessions: June 13 – August 7

Why This Role Matters

You'll spend the summer in more places than anyone else at camp, which means more campers see you. The kid cheering at the archery range, the one who just met a horse for the first time, the table that's laughing hardest at dinner. You'll be in all of those rooms, and you'll be part of why they're good.

That's a summer worth having.

Additional Requirements

  • Must be 16 years of age or older
  • Employment is contingent on background and reference checks
