Job Description
The Food and Beverage Associate is responsible for providing friendly, efficient, and professional service to guests across the hotel’s restaurants, bars, and events. The role ensures a positive dining experience while maintaining high standards of service, cleanliness, and hospitality.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome guests warmly and assist with seating and menu information.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and process them efficiently.
- Serve food and beverages according to hotel standards.
- Ensure tables, service areas, and equipment are clean and properly arranged.
- Respond promptly and courteously to guest requests and feedback.
- Coordinate with the kitchen and bar teams to ensure timely service.
- Follow correct billing, cash-handling, and payment procedures.
- Maintain knowledge of menus, promotions, ingredients, and hotel facilities.
- Follow food safety, hygiene, health, and safety standards.
- Assist with restaurant opening, closing, banquets, and special events.
- Report guest concerns, maintenance issues, and stock shortages to the supervisor.
- Support colleagues and contribute to a positive team environment.

Qualifications and Experience
- Previous experience in a hotel, restaurant, café, or bar is preferred.
- Hospitality or customer-service experience is an advantage.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Professional appearance and guest-focused attitude.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic knowledge of food and beverage service.
