A Day in the Life
A Day in The Life Of:
- Perform routine analytical testing to support receiving, in-process and final lot release activities
- Perform a variety of technical procedures such as preparing routine solutions and reagents and performing routine reactions
- Make and record observations; perform calculations; and collect and prepare data for evaluation
- Conduct laboratory support functions such as stocking and distributing supplies and equipment; arranging and dismantling apparatus; and collecting, washing, and storing glassware
- Performs technical and record keeping duties in conformance with company and regulatory policies and standards to meet quality and accuracy requirements
- May analyse compounds and manage corporate compound collection
- Performs technical procedures in one of the following areas: Production,
- Research and Development, Quality Control/Assurance, and/or Compliance/Environmental
- Participate in Laboratory investigations and deviations, initiating appropriate corrective actions and following through to implementation
- Adhere to all Laboratory and relevant site wide procedures and practices for Safety & GMP
Key Skills & Experience
- Requires Analytical Chemistry or related Science degree
- Minimum requirement NFQ Level 6 degree with 2 years’ relevant experience
- Requires complete and broad knowledge of operational systems, techniques and practices typically gained through extensive experience and/or education
- Knowledge of LC, GC and Wet Chemistry techniques is desirable
- Good understanding of GMP/GLP required
- Dynamic team player
- Can work effectively and proactively on cross functional team
