## About this Role

We are seeking an experienced investigations professional to lead complex internal investigations across a multi-country environment. Based in Bangalore, this individual contributor role sits within Corporate Security and is responsible for managing investigations from initial assessment through to reporting and follow-up, including Speak Up and data loss prevention matters. The role requires sound judgement, independence and discretion when handling sensitive allegations, evidence and stakeholder relationships. Exposure to European local laws and investigation practices would be an advantage

You will also help maintain VOIS investigation governance, align local practices with Group policy and support the continued development of the Investigations function. The work has a potentially significant impact on organisational trust, brand and reputation

## What you’ll do

Lead sensitive and complex internal investigations from initial assessment to closure, ensuring objectivity, thoroughness, accuracy, relevance, timeliness and confidentiality.Manage Speak Up, data loss prevention and suspected misconduct investigations across assigned VOIS locations, working with investigation leadership and local triage teams.Collect, secure, preserve and assess evidence in line with appropriate security and digital forensic practices.Advise investigation leadership on proportionate investigation plans for alleged wrongdoing, consulting Human Resources and relevant Group stakeholders where required.Prepare clear, accurate and confidential investigation reports, case records, management information and key performance indicators.Present investigation findings, risks and recommendations to relevant stakeholders and organisational leaders.Track agreed remedial actions through to completion in line with defined service levels and timelines.Serve as a point of contact for the Vodafone Case Management Tool, supporting coordination among VOIS, Group and local Speak Up committees.Maintain case information and access rights in the case management system, ensuring appropriate governance and data quality.Represent VOIS in investigation-related litigation and provide evidence or testimony to law enforcement agencies or courts when required.Support the development and delivery of the VOIS investigations strategy, transformation priorities and performance framework.Identify potential malpractice through lawful, ethical and proportionate intelligence sources and investigation methods.Monitor the implementation of investigation procedures, policy exceptions and risk controls across assigned locations.Produce periodic qualitative and quantitative investigation reporting using Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.Deliver investigation awareness sessions and training aligned with the Investigations Embedding Programme.Build effective working relationships with internal and external investigators, technology teams and leaders across multiple location

## Who you are

You have at least five to eight years of experience managing end-to-end internal investigations, preferably within an IT, IT-enabled services, telecommunications or similarly complex organisation.You hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree from an accredited university in economics, commerce, mathematics, law, business, accounting, computer science, data science or a related discipline.You bring strong analytical, communication, interpersonal and stakeholder-influencing skills.You can exercise independent judgement when assessing varied risks arising from sensitive incidents and allegations.You have experience working confidentially with senior stakeholders and collaborating across countries, functions and organisational levels.You have practical knowledge of Microsoft Office tools and digital forensic analysis.You understand investigation governance, risk-based compliance, evidence preservation, case management and confidential reporting.You demonstrate inclusive leadership behaviours and can build trust across culturally and professionally diverse stakeholder groups.A Certified Fraud Examiner or Professional Certified Investigator qualification is preferred.Certification or working knowledge of PEACE, Reid or Wicklander-Zulawski interviewing techniques is preferred.Experience in physical security, fraud management, information security, IT infrastructure or technology would be beneficial.Exposure to telecommunications and European local laws and investigation practices would be advantageous
