Salary: up to JP¥10,000,000 annually

The Role

This role will participate in various analysis and consulting projects, providing diverse data science support to clients alongside senior LLM scientists, while contributing to the accumulation of the company's core technologies. You will have the opportunity to engage with data application practices across various industries and scenarios in the financial sector, participating comprehensively in all aspects of data utilization support—from business-oriented planning and proposals to model construction, production deployment, operational design, and Machine Learning Ops.

 

Your Responsibilities:

•  Develop business applications based on LLM prompt design, parameter tuning, and API integration solutions.
  
• Support business efficiency improvements and Proof of Concept (PoC) validation through Generative AI, RAG, and Agent development.
  
• Collaborate with AI consultants (Data Strategy Leads) and Data Engineers to execute specific implementation and verification tasks according to design plans.
  
• Proactively drive improvements in deliverable quality and technical verification under the guidance of superiors (Senior/Manager).

• Bachelor's degree from a four-year university or equivalent machine learning learning experience.
• At least 1 year of practical work experience in AI/data applications.
• Experience developing LLM-based applications using LLM APIs provided by cloud service providers.
• Experience in deep communication with clients or end-users of data analysis outcomes, absorbing domain knowledge, and driving a fundamental understanding of issues from a data perspective; involvement in data analysis-related work.
• Experience in planning and designing LLM projects, fine-tuning/training, and LLMOps.
• Not limited to data analysis but actively involved in surrounding areas of data applications.
• Possess thoughts and practical experience in creating value through data exploration.
• Master's degree in Applied Mathematics, Informatics, Econometrics, or related fields.
• Experience in financial data analysis or relevant business operations.
• Experience supporting other organizations or conducting training and education within a Center of Excellence (CoE) organization or consulting firm.
• Experience in industry-academia joint research or collaborative research with external research institutions.
• Practical analysis experience with structured data, in addition to unstructured data (images, natural language, etc.).
• Analytical experience in financial-specific domains such as market data analysis and credit scoring model development.
• Experience using Python/R for data preprocessing, analysis, modeling, and advancing business applications.
• Experience using data platforms such as Snowflake, Databricks, and BigQuery for data processing and analysis.
• Business-level English speaking, reading, and writing skills
• Japanese language proficiency at a business level or higher.
