About the Role

The Cloud ERP Platform Expert is responsible for the implementation, operation, and continuous evolution of Haleon’s global ERP platform across SAP RISE, SAP BTP, Azure, PaaS, and SaaS ecosystems. The role ensures that the ERP estate is secure, resilient, compliant, and highly available, enabling critical business operations and transformation initiatives.

Working across the full ERP technology stack - Applications, SAP Basis, Databases, Operating Systems, Cloud Infrastructure, and Security - the individual will lead platform governance, operational excellence, modernization, vulnerability management, and lifecycle management while partnering with internal teams and strategic service providers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for end-to-end implementation and operation of Haleon’s ERP platforms across SAP RISE, BTP, Azure, and hybrid landscapes.

  • Execute Haleon’s SAP BTP strategy, governance, and adoption roadmap, including services such as Integration Suite, HANA Cloud, Build, Signavio, Event Mesh, and Cloud ALM.

  • Lead SAP Basis, BTP, database (Oracle/HANA), OS, and infrastructure administration activities for a large-scale global ERP estate.

  • Ensure platform availability, performance, capacity, security, and disaster recovery readiness.

  • Drive platform patching, upgrade, migration, and refresh activities.

  • Lead vulnerability remediation and security hardening across the ERP technical stack.

  • Ensure compliance with SOX, ITGC, audit, cybersecurity, and regulatory requirements from ERP platform standpoint.

  • Govern change, release, incident, and problem management processes for ERP landscape.

  • Manage partners and service providers to deliver operational excellence.

  • Act as escalation point for critical production and business-impacting incidents.

Required Experience & Skills

Technical Expertise

  • SAP ECC, S/4HANA (RISE), BW/BW4HANA, APO, PI/PO, Solution Manager, GRC, MDG, ILM, PLM, BFC, FIM, BODS, ATTP, and SAP Java Stack platforms.

  • SAP BTP administration, governance, security, and operations.

  • Azure cloud hosting and hybrid ERP architectures.

  • Oracle and SAP HANA database administration and performance tuning.

  • Integration with enterprise platforms including Celonis, OpenText, Loftware, Salesforce, Ariba, Concur, Fieldglass, and IBP.

Professional Experience

  • 10+ years of Proven experience managing large global ERP estates (100+ instances).

  • Strong background in SAP cloud transformations, ERP migrations, and platform modernization programs.

  • Expertise in ERP security, resilience, compliance, and operational governance.

  • Experience working with globally distributed teams and managed service providers.

  • Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and executive communication skills.

  • Proven ability to manage complex escalations and influence Director, VP, and senior leadership stakeholders.

  • Experience within pharmaceutical or other regulated industries preferred.
