Description
Position Summary
Provide strategic leadership and operational direction for undergraduate admissions processing, data infrastructure, systems, and international credential workflows supporting NYU Abu Dhabi. Serve as a senior member of the undergraduate admissions leadership team, providing expertise and recommendations on admissions operations, technology, data governance, and process improvements to support the University's strategic enrollment goals. Lead professional staff and collaborate across NYU Abu Dhabi, New York, and global University partners to ensure effective admissions operations, data integrity, and consistent processes throughout the applicant lifecycle. Attend training, events, and team activities at NYU Abu Dhabi in Abu Dhabi, UAE, up to four times per year.
Qualifications
Required Education:Bachelor's Degree
Preferred Education:Master's Degree Data Science, User Experience (UX), Information Technology, Higher Education Administration, or a related field.
Required Experience:5+ years progressive experience in university admissions operations, application processing, and CRM database management, including experience with secondary education, university advising, international education, or U.S. liberal arts-style programs. Must include experience with CRM system administration, complex data management, developing reports for senior leadership, staff management, and leading cross-functional teams.
Preferred Experience:5+ years direct experience overseeing international credential processing (including ECE, IB, A-Levels, and national exams) and global vendor management.
Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:Intermediate knowledge of admissions application processing, with a focus on application documentation and database administration. Familiarity with enrollment management practices and data-informed decision-making. Excellent organizational, analytical, and project management skills. Excellent English verbal and written communication and presentation skills. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with diverse audiences across nationalities and cultural contexts and manage external partnerships. Willingness to travel internationally several times per year.
Preferred Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:SQL Database language Deep technical expertise in Slate CRM workflow design, relational databases, and higher education Student Information Systems (e.g., PeopleSoft). Advanced analytical capability with query building, reporting tools, and business intelligence (SQL language proficiency preferred). Strong leadership, conflict resolution, and decision-making skills with the ability to exercise judgment independently under critical deadlines. High awareness of global data privacy laws, compliance standards, and international student onboarding requirements.
Additional Information
In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is USD $75,000.00 to USD $95,000.00. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and organizational considerations when extending an offer. This pay range represents base pay only and excludes any additional items such as incentives, bonuses, clinical compensation, or other items.
