Job description
The team
Our SAP technical consulting team delivers enterprise-scale SAP solutions supporting complex business transformation initiatives. Working alongside SAP functional consultants, developers, architects, and client stakeholders, the team designs and implements applications and technical solutions across the SAP technology landscape. Our work spans SAP S/4HANA development, integration, architecture, Fiori, SAP Business Technology Platform, Solution Manager, and related technologies. You will join a collaborative delivery organization where technical quality, strong communication, leadership, and the ability to guide distributed onsite and offshore teams are critical to successful client outcomes.
The role
We are seeking an experienced SAP S/4 Technical Architecture Lead to provide technical leadership across SAP S/4HANA implementation engagements. You will help define technical architecture, guide development and integration strategies, establish technical standards, and work closely with functional and technical teams throughout the software development lifecycle. You will support technical design decisions, development estimates, staffing, code quality, solution troubleshooting, testing, deployment, and technical delivery. Strong leadership and communication skills are essential for working with client stakeholders and distributed development teams. This is a national role, and candidates may be based anywhere in the United States; however, candidates located in Ohio, particularly the Columbus metropolitan area, are strongly preferred.
What you’ll bring
- 10–15 years of SAP technical experience with strong exposure to SAP S/4HANA architecture and implementation.
- Broad SAP architecture knowledge including Java and ABAP application servers, Service Oriented Architecture, Enterprise Services, SAP installation concepts, and Basis administration.
- Strong understanding of ABAP/Object-Oriented ABAP, CDS Views, OData, SAPUI5, Fiori Elements, Fiori Launchpad, and SAP BTP.
- Knowledge of SAP integration technologies including BAPIs, IDOCs, ALE, web services, SAP PI architecture, adapters, and integration scenarios.
- Experience with development architecture, data conversion, enhancements, transport strategies, workflow, forms, and SAP Solution Manager.
- Experience with SAP ACTIVATE methodology, RICEWF requirements, technical specifications, development estimates, staffing, coding standards, and ABAP code reviews.
- Demonstrated ability to provide technical leadership across the full software project lifecycle.
- Experience leading onsite and offshore SAP development teams with strong client-facing communication skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related discipline and ability to travel.
- SAP S/4HANA certification is recommended, but not required
