Job Description Summary

Are you ready to architect the digital foundation of a cleaner energy future? As a Lead Product Structuring Configuration Engineer, you will serve as a technical pillar in our digital transformation. You will bridge the gap between complex engineering design and precision manufacturing, ensuring that our Steam Turbine and Generator product lines operate with seamless, data-driven efficiency across our Central European footprint. Your work directly impacts how we deliver mission-critical energy solutions to the world.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Product Structure Integrity: Lead the technical definition and maintenance of complex Bill of Materials (BOMs) for Steam Turbine and Generator components, ensuring accuracy and modularity across engineering and manufacturing.
  • System Integration & Digital Thread: Drive the technical implementation of data flows between Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, resolving data friction points to maintain a continuous digital thread.
  • Technical Leadership for Central Europe: Act as the primary technical point of contact for regional manufacturing sites, deploying standardized configuration logic that balances local plant requirements with global standards.
  • Process Optimization: Develop and audit standardized processes for product structure management, identifying opportunities to automate manual data transfers and minimize configuration errors.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Bridge the technical divide between Design Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, and IT, translating engineering requirements into manufacturing-ready data sets.
  • Change Management & Mentorship: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the team, leading the adoption of new digital tools and standardized workflows.
  • Data Governance: Enforce rigorous data quality standards through regular audits to ensure effective downstream order management and supply chain execution.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related), Computer Science, or equivalent technical field.
  • Significant experience in Product Definition Engineering (PDE), Systems Engineering, or Configuration Management within a complex industrial environment.
  • Proven technical background in Steam Turbines and/or Generators.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead technical workstreams, mentor colleagues, and drive project initiatives.
  • Proficiency in both English and Polish.

Preferred

  • Demonstrated proficiency in PLM-to-ERP data integration.
  • Practical experience managing product structures or BOMs for complex engineered products.
  • Experience implementing or optimizing large-scale ERP and PLM environments (e.g., SAP, Teamcenter, Windchill, or similar).
  • Working knowledge of CATIA V5 or Siemens NX.
