The role:

As a Electrical Technician, you will help drive our goals by:

  • Participate in preventive maintenance program for plant equipment, machinery and related facilities; identify equipment maintenance needs; ensure accuracy of records kept.
  • Perform routine mechanical, electrical, or machine maintenance activities on equipment including inspection, and replacement parts; order and maintain stock used in plant equipment.
  • Maintain records of plant function readings and equipment history; maintain preventative maintenance records and schedules.
  • Attend breakdowns, identify fault and Solution of problem with minimal downtime to production
  • Carry out diagnosis of faults, maintenance and repairs to all types of plant and equipment in a safe, timely and professional manner and return equipment to operational service.
  • Estimate length of time required to complete a job and likely consequences of failure to complete work within required timescales.
  • Maintain preventive maintenance efficiency of critical, utility machines and Breakdown.
  • Work with adherence to EHS culture, 5S and Kaizen methodology to maintain workplace to a high standard.
  • Make full use of the computerized maintenance management system and contribution in analysis of repetitive breakdowns, frequent failure parts etc.
  • Development of countermeasures to prevent machine’s recurring problems in case of repetitive failures.
  • Implementation of Maintenance Schedule for machinery, DBs and electrical panels.
  • Attention to emergency call anytime whenever needed.
  • Identification & execution of energy saving project in compliance to ISO 50001

Key skills that will help you succeed in this role:

  • Ability to work on production problems and recommend improved techniques. - Essential
  • Ability to work in teams - Essential

Required Qualification and Experience for this role:

  • ITI in Electrical or Electronics - Essential
  • Minimum 8-12 years of experience. - Essential
  • Experience on Automatic PLC controlled Machines, Pneumatics, Hydraulics, AC Drives, PID controller, Dryers, Ovens and Conveyors, Robotics, - Essential
  • Knowledge of the equipment, materials, processes and practices utilized in a factory operation. - Essential
  • Knowledge of Mechanical Gear Boxes, Monoblock Pumps and Centrifugal blowers. - Desirable
  • Exposure on utilities equipment i.e. Chillers, Air washers, HVAC, Air Compressors, DG sets, Transformer, LT panels etc. will be preferred. - Desirable.
