Job Description
As a Security Officer DoD Clearance Required Unarmed Patrol Driver in Santa Ana, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and report security-related concerns. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy. You will provide professional customer service and clear communication while supporting site operations. Pay Rate: $26.00 / Hour
Job Schedule:
This is a full-time position. You can expect to work a minimum of 30 hours per week. The schedule for this position has not been assigned yet. If you are selected to move forward, your schedule will be determined as you progress through the hiring, onboarding, and training process. Your manager will work with you to assign a schedule based on business needs before your start date.
What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients, employees, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain accurate visitor and incident documentation in accordance with site procedures.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing and industrial facilities, offices, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as needed.
- Observe and report potential hazards, equipment concerns, and policy violations while maintaining a professional presence throughout the location.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess an active DoD Top Secret clearance.
- Have at least 2 years of law enforcement, military police, and/or corrections experience.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
