What You’ll Be Part Of

As the E-Commerce Lead, you will be responsible for the day-to-day execution, optimisation and continuous improvement of Harman's e-commerce ecosystem across Australia and New Zealand. The role owns website performance, digital marketing execution, CRM, customer experience and digital analytics to deliver online sales growth and best-in-class consumer experiences.

 

Reporting to the E-Commerce Retail Trade Marketing Manager, the role translates commercial priorities into effective digital execution across Harman's owned channels and supports retailer digital activation where required.

 

The E-Commerce Lead serves as the digital subject matter expert, leads digital initiatives and acts as a resource for colleagues while driving continuous improvement across the e-commerce function.

 

How You’ll Make An Impact

 

Website & Digital Experience

  • Own the day-to-day operation and optimisation of Harman's e-commerce websites.
  • Ensure website merchandising, content and customer journeys support business objectives.
  • Coordinate website enhancements, testing and continuous optimisation.
  • Monitor website health, functionality and customer experience.

Digital Marketing & CRM

  • Execute digital marketing campaigns across Paid Search, Paid Social, SEO, Email and CRM.
  • Work closely and collaboratively with the Brand Marketing Team to plan paid digital campaigns, asset ideation, briefing and creation by the brand team to meet the business objectives.
  • Manage relationships with digital agencies to optimise campaign performance and ensure reporting is robust and timely.
  • Build customer acquisition and retention strategies through CRM automation and work with Brand Marketing team to create EDM communication that is on brand guidelines and utilises the asset suites available.
  • Develop customer journeys using data-driven insights.

Analytics & Insights

  • Develop and maintain e-commerce dashboards and KPI reporting.
  • Analyse website performance including conversion, traffic, ROAS, customer acquisition and engagement.
  • Identify trends and recommend improvements based on multiple data sources.
  • Present recommendations that improve online commercial performance.

Platform & Systems

  • Support implementation of new e-commerce capabilities and global platform enhancements.
  • Partner with Global E-Commerce teams on website upgrades and digital projects.
  • Lead testing, user acceptance and deployment of new digital functionality.

Customer Experience

  • Manage escalated website, payment and online customer issues.
  • Work with Customer Service to improve customer satisfaction and Net Promoter Score.
  • Identify opportunities to improve customer experience across the online journey.
  • Work with Brand Management team on any customer pain points to ensure education or social activity addresses any potential issues identified.

Cross Functional Collaboration

  • Support the E-Commerce Retail Trade Marketing Manager and collaborate with Brand Marketing team in executing online promotional campaigns and product launches.
  • Partner with Marketing, Sales, Category and Supply Chain teams to ensure seamless online execution.
  • Share digital expertise and best practice across the business.

What Makes You A Strong Fit

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Digital, Commerce or related discipline.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in e-commerce or digital marketing.
  • Analytical capability.
  • Strong knowledge of Google Analytics 4 and digital marketing platforms.
  • Experience working with agency partners.
  • Strong project management and organisational skills.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication.
  • We see AI as an important part of how work gets done. While tools may vary, a baseline familiarity with using AI to support efficiency, problem-solving, and quality is expected.

Bonus Points if You Have

  • Experience with Salesforce Commerce Cloud or similar CMS.
  • Consumer Electronics or FMCG experience.
  • CRM and marketing automation experience.
  • SEO and Paid Media experience.
  • Experience leading website optimisation projects.
