What Makes This Role Great:

In this role, you will be at the forefront of building and executing localized license compliance strategies in mainland China for Trimble's Structures division. You will directly influence the protection of our intellectual property and software copyrights, acting as a crucial bridge between internal legal representatives, local sales teams, and external agencies to shape a fair and compliant construction software ecosystem.

Key Exciting Responsibilities

• Spearhead comprehensive investigations into potential license compliance suspects using specialized tools and web research.

• Negotiate with compliance agencies and build effective localized compliance strategies aligned with global guidelines.

• Analyze software license agreements and maintenance records to conduct accurate license reconciliations.

• Partner with direct sales teams and distribution partners to resolve compliance issues and generate direct sales.

• Educate internal and external stakeholders on software licensing to promote long-term contractual compliance.

Essential Skills & Experience

•  Must have 5+ years of experience in License Compliance Sales with the ability to interpret complex legal and business concepts.

• Plan and conduct license reviews to ensure software is used/distributed in compliance with the associated license agreements. This includes negotiation and cooperation with internal legal representatives if required.

• Proven knowledge of the software industry, ideally within the design and construction segment.

• Bachelor's degree in law, business management, or a related field with demonstrable experience in License Compliance Sales.

• Strong analytical research skills with the ability to manage multiple projects independently.

• Exceptional communication skills in both Mandarin and English to effectively manage customer relationships and negotiations.

• Established relationships with compliance agencies in the region.

• Prior experience collaborating with and managing software distribution channels.
