Job Summary:
Manages architectural teams and project-level design delivery, ensuring consistent execution of high-quality, coordinated architectural solutions. Oversees day-to-day design operations across assigned projects, supports implementation of established design standards, and ensures alignment with project goals, codes, and DPR practices. Provides people leadership, technical oversight, and cross-functional coordination to support reliable project delivery and development of architectural talent. Supports integration of DPR Self-Perform Work (SPW) and prefabrication products into project designs and works with Virtual Design and Construction (VDC) teams to maintain a coordinated, continuous model and data environment.

Key Responsibilities:
Manages project assignments, resource allocation, and performance of architectural team members.
Oversees design development, documentation, and coordination across disciplines.
Manages architects to ensure drawings, models, and specifications meets quality and compliance requirements.
Collaborates with internal and external partners to resolve design, cost, and constructability issues.
Implements and enforces architectural design standards, templates, and workflows.
Supports business development efforts through technical input and proposal development.
Mentors team members and facilitates professional development and skill growth.

Education Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in architecture or a related field, or equivalent experience required.

Work Experience:
10+ years of experience in architectural design or design management required, including leadership of design teams.
 
 
 
 

Certifications and Licenses:
Update JD with years of experience DONE
Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Accredited Professional (LEED AP) certification preferred.
