Job Summary
The client is seeking a highly motivated Wealth Management Business Analyst to bridge the gap between business stakeholders and technology teams. The successful candidate will analyze business requirements, optimize wealth management processes, and support the delivery of digital and operational solutions across investment advisory, portfolio management, client onboarding, and regulatory reporting functions.
Key Responsibilities
Business Analysis & Requirements Management
- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from wealth management stakeholders.
- Create business requirement documents (BRDs), functional specifications, user stories, and process flows.
- Conduct gap analysis and recommend process improvements.
- Facilitate workshops and meetings with business users, product owners, and technology teams.
Wealth Management Solutions
- Support initiatives related to:
- Portfolio management
- Investment advisory services
- Client onboarding and KYC
- Risk profiling and suitability assessments
- Financial planning
- CRM and client servicing platforms
- Digital wealth management solutions
- Assist in defining target operating models and business processes.
Project Delivery
- Collaborate with project managers, developers, QA teams, and vendors.
- Support Agile and Waterfall project delivery methodologies.
- Participate in solution design, testing, and implementation activities.
- Manage UAT planning, execution, and defect resolution.
Data & Reporting
- Analyze client, investment, and operational data.
- Develop business reports and dashboards.
- Support regulatory and management reporting requirements.
- Ensure data quality and consistency across systems.
Stakeholder Management
- Build strong relationships with business users, operations teams, compliance, risk, and technology teams.
- Provide regular project updates and status reporting.
- Support change management and user training activities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Information Systems, or related discipline.
- 5-8+ years of business analysis experience within Wealth Management, Private Banking, Asset Management, or Financial Services.
- Strong understanding of wealth management products including:
- Equities
- Bonds
- Mutual Funds
- ETFs
- Structured Products
- Insurance and Investment Products
- Experience in requirements gathering, process mapping, and documentation.
