What You Will Do:
Plan maintenance activities for a designated location.
Plan and confirm priorities with Operations team, Inventory Control Team, Logistics team, and Asset Coordinator.
Manage the equipment receiving process, which includes identifying equipment that arrives on the yard and assessing the equipment according to maintenance requirements.
Create Shop Failures or Deficiency Reports for deficiencies found upon equipment arrival.
Open repair work orders and enter information to document equipment scheduled for service.
Organize equipment in the appropriate queues depending on priorities and needs, such as washing, test pit and bays.
Coordinate with Stores on assigning and delivering materials and supplies to workstations, ensuring work is completed according to maintenance and repair priorities.
Supervise the Yard Crew regarding washing and driving, where such personnel are employed.
Assist the Logistics Supervisor and Inventory Control Supervisor with asset counting and equipment list management functions.
Contribute to the Health, Safety and Environment, continuous improvement and LEAN programs.
Ensure consistent and ongoing business system usage.
Provide user assistance as required and coordinate the local user community.
Deliver local user training as needed.
Coordinate the creation and maintenance of user accounts in the system.
Monitor and ensure authorization of system account requests.
Police and correct system errors and remove obsolete and duplicate items.
Track and ensure a response to all system feedback, Help requests, bugs, and idea submissions.
Maintain an organized archiving/e-filing system of corporate documents.
Handling sensitive information in a confidential manner.
Contribute to quality customer service.
Performs a variety of routine and some non routine clerical/accounting/customer service functions in accordance with standard procedures in one or more of the following areas: general accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, credit and/or collections. Contacts other departments, customers and/or outside agencies to resolve problems and resolve open issues. Operates a personal computer and appropriate software packages or its equivalent.
Position Details:
11 days on/3 days off, every other weekend
7:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.
Minimum Qualifications:
1 year of experience in shipping, logistics, warehouse operations, inventory control, or supply chain coordination
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Strong communication and customer service skills
Ability to prioritize and multitask through multiple computer programs
Strong proficiency with all Microsoft Office applications; experience with SAP is a plus
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Highly motivated with a positive attitude and commitment to continuous improvement and operational excellence
Problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve shipping and inventory issues
Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment, collaborating with colleagues across departments to achieve shared goals
Follow all safety policies and company-wide safety requirements; encourage action assuring safe behavior; confront unsafe behavior and conditions proactively and positively

Close visual acuity is required for visual inspections involving small defects, small parts and/or operation of machines (including inspection) and motor vehicles, using measurement devices, and/or assembly or fabrication of parts at distances close to the eyes.
Subject to environmental conditions as activities occur inside and outside.
Subject to hazards including proximity to moving mechanical parts, moving vehicles, electrical current, working on scaffolding and high places, exposure to high heat or exposure to chemicals.
