Cross Platform Software Developer

Overview

 

New product development and sustaining engineering of Internet enabled hand-held vehicle diagnostic products

Responsibilities include developing and maintaining firmware and applications on multiple platforms and products globally

 

Responsibilities:

• Contribute as a member of a SCRUMBAN team which is part of a global development team
• Design and develop new cross-platform products and features while focusing on quality
• Work as part of a cross-functional global team

 Requirements:

• 5 years C++ programming in an embedded environment employing a real-time operating system
• Excellent problem solving / debugging skills
• Excellent communication skills – written and verbal
• Self-motivated

Experience in some of the following areas:

• Well versed in multi-threaded development and n-tier architecture
• Strong understanding of object-oriented software design and design patterns
• Comfortable with using GitHub Copilot
•        Familiarity with Android development
•        Experience implementing multi-threaded applications on a RTOS
• Experience with the IAR Integrated Development Environment
• Familiar with Android Studio, Android SDK and UI frameworks
• Familiar with Visual Studio and Windows SDKs and frameworks
• GUI Design in an embedded environment using Tara Systems Embedded Wizard
• Vehicle Communication Protocols
•  
• Salary $100,000 - $130,000
