POSITION SUMMARY
The maintenance engineer is responsible for performing Preventive Maintenance tasks, troubleshooting, repair, support new project commissioning, improving equipment reliability and modification and preventive maintenance of maintenance equipment, hands-on experience with all power substation equipment, induction and synchronous motors, protective relays, switchgear starters, PF compensation capacitor, MCC, UPS, VFD, equipment control systems, transformers, generators, electrical heater/system, plant lightings, DC battery & charger system maintenance and troubleshooting, etc.
RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Ensure to comply with AP and local safety, health and environment standards, fulfill the mandatory safety requirement and activities: safety training, safety meeting, and all other requirements by AP EH&S and local regulation.
2. Monitor the serviceability of plant equipment and facilities to ensure compliance with safety, housekeeping, and environmental requirements.
3. Responsible for maintenance of all electrical & related instrument equipment.
4. Delivery timely 24/7 supports scheduled, unscheduled, and emergency maintenance activities, dedicating the necessary time and effort to ensure safe and reliable plant operations and customer satisfaction.
5. To be familiar with all equipment in plant, ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of all maintenance equipment documentation, and maintain an accessible and up-to-date equipment history database.
6. Provide hands-on technical skills at troubleshooting and all related maintenance work or supporting work responsible.
7. Perform preventive maintenance work and support to implement Mechanical Integrity work, troubleshooting, repair for all equipment.
8. Coordinate or assist in supervision of contractor’s work in the facility or shop to guarantee safety, quality and reliability.
9. Provide technical reports through the specified data sheet, APPs or checklist.
10. Reporting-Time entry weekly and assist supervisor to prepare technical reports.
11. Coordinate maintenance matters with OP team and support maintenance works in other areas.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
1. Educational: BS Diploma or ITE (2- or 3-year technical program) in an electrical engineering or engineering discipline with strong technical fundamentals.
2. Working Experience: Start at a minimum of 5 years and progress thereafter.
3. Hands-on work experience is a must.
4. Position will have experience in major shutdown support, project work, plant operations and maintenance efforts.
5. Knowledge of vendor contracts and knowledge of shop support in the region is desirable.
6. Attitude and passion for the work group assigned.
