Job Summary:
As a Senior Software Engineer, you will participate in the design, development and testing of extremely high throughput, low latency user generated content systems.
As a member of the agile development team you will:

Responsibilities:
Design, implement, test, and deploy high-quality software solutions under the guidance of senior team members.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues in existing code and production systems
Test software through various means including unit tests, integration tests and performance tests.
Proactively assume responsibility for learning and supporting high scale production software systems.
Participate in the breakdown and estimation of development tasks and effectively communicate your progress on assigned tasks.
Work under the guidance of senior engineers to improve application functionality and resiliency.
Actively participate in daily stand-ups and other scrum ceremonies.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software, Electrical or Electronics Engineering, or comparable field of study, and/or equivalent work experience
A minimum 5 years of professional experience
Deep understanding of the Java programming language and object-oriented programming
Self-starter with proven ability to deliver high quality software in a pragmatic fashion
Proven ability to solve challenging technical problems
Proven ability to learn new technology and/or complex systems
Proven ability and highly motivated to mentor and help grow other engineers
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences
Preferred Qualifications:
A minimum of 5-years of professional experience
Master's Degree in Computer Science
Interest and/or experience in fantasy games
Full stack / front end engineering experience
Hands on experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS)
Hands on experience with Cassandra or other NoSQL DBs
Experience working on highly scalable real time software platforms
