Recently recognized as one of the 2025 Best RIAs to Work For, we continue to invest in technology that enhances the client experience and supports our growing business. We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Platform and Data Manager to join our team.

Position Summary

As Salesforce Platform and Data Manager, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining Salesforce solutions that support our advisors, operations teams, and client service professionals. This role is ideal for someone who cares deeply about clean data, thoughtful architecture, consistency, and scalable systems.

Working closely with business stakeholders and technology partners, you will manage the overall Salesforce environment, improve usability and data integrity, build workflows and automations, and support integrations with third-party platforms. You will also help evolve our current systems and reduce technical debt, creating durable, scalable solutions that can support the firm’s next stage of growth.

The ideal candidate has 5 to 7 years of Salesforce development and administration experience and enjoys solving complex business challenges through thoughtful technical solutions. Experience in financial services, wealth management, banking, or a related industry is strongly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and manage the overall Salesforce environment, including platform structure, objects, page layouts, reports, automations, visibility, user permissions, and integrations.
  • Maintain a high standard for data organization, consistency, accuracy, governance, and usability across the platform.
  • Translate strong data integrity practices into reliable reporting, dashboards, KPIs, and business analysis that leadership and employees can use to make informed decisions.
  • Collaborate with business leaders, users, technology partners, and cross-functional teams to understand needs, identify pain points, gather requirements, and translate business priorities into effective Salesforce solutions.
  • Serve as primary Salesforce and general data integrity point of contact for employees by answering questions, providing training and guidance, troubleshooting issues, and resolving problems in a timely manner.
  • Assist with translating, mapping, and migrating data from firms acquired through mergers and acquisitions, ensuring information is clean, consistent, accurate, and aligned with Salesforce data standards.
  • Design, develop, test, and deploy custom Salesforce solutions using tools such as Flows, Apex, Tableau, Salesforce APIs, and other platform capabilities.
  • Build, enhance, and maintain integrations between Salesforce and third-party applications and enterprise systems.
  • Proactively assess the current Salesforce environment to reduce technical debt and implement scalable improvements that support future business growth.
  • Partner with the IT team to support Salesforce-related security features, access controls, permission structures, and system safeguards.
  • Support change management through creation and maintenance of SOP documentation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5 to 7 years of hands-on Salesforce Administrator, Developer, or hybrid Salesforce owner experience.
  • Salesforce Platform Developer or similar Salesforce certification is preferred.
  • Experience with Apex, SOQL, Flows, Salesforce APIs and integrations, and advanced reporting and dashboarding tools.
  • Experience with Orion Advisor Technology, Egnyte Document Management, Docusign, Emma or other email marketing software is a plus.
  • Advanced Excel proficiency, including strong knowledge of formulas, functions, data analysis tools, and practical business use cases.
  • Experience working in a growing or changing organization where processes, teams, and systems are evolving.
  • Financial Services Cloud and financial services experience is strongly preferred, especially within wealth management, investment advisory, banking, insurance, or other related industries.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Benefits

  • 401(k) retirement plan with 6% match
  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance
  • Flexible spending accounts
  • Life and disability insurance
  • Paid time off
  • Parental leave
  • Flexible hybrid work schedule
