About the Team
The High Voltage Electronics Global Supply Management team manages the Tier 1 contract manufacturing supply base for Lucid's Drive Unit and Charging systems. The team drives supplier selection, product development builds, ramp-up, and mass production supply-chain execution across critical electronics assemblies. This global team partners closely with Design Engineering, Program Management, Supplier Industrialization, Supplier Quality, Material Planning, Finance, Logistics, Legal, and Manufacturing to deliver stable supply, cost discipline, and launch readiness. The scope has broad impact across Lucid's vehicle electronics portfolio and includes managing multiple contract manufacturers and their extended electronics supply networks.
The Role
Lucid Motors is seeking a Global Supply Manager for Printed Circuit Board Assemblies (PCBA) within the High Voltage Powertrain Systems team. This role reports to the Senior Group Manager for HV Electronics, Drive Unit, and PCBAs and will own business engagement with PCBA Tier 1 suppliers and key Tier 2 component suppliers. The opening exists to support the growing global supply-base complexity for the Midsize HV portfolio while sustaining supply-chain performance for Gravity and Air.
In this role, you will execute global supply-chain strategies, support development and industrialization builds, and make well-informed business decisions throughout the product lifecycle. In your first 12 months, success will be measured by launch and ramp readiness for Midsize, stable supply continuity for Gravity and Air, disciplined weeks-of-coverage management, minimized inventory exposure, and controlled supplier liability. What you will find here is direct ownership of contract manufacturer relationships, meaningful spend, and launch execution from day one on a vehicle platform that is genuinely competitive at the top of the market.
What You'll Own
- Supply Chain Stability: Manage NPI and mass production build execution for PCBAs at Tier 1 contract manufacturers, driving supply readiness, industrialization alignment, and supplier performance.
- Engineering and Program Collaboration: Partner with Engineering and Program teams to manage design changes, ECO implementation, material shortages, and test requirements so supply plans are executable and aligned to launch needs.
- Commodity Strategy: Implement PCBA commodity strategies, including sourcing decisions, resource planning, allocation balancing, and supplier performance actions in partnership with senior GSM leadership.
- Supplier Ownership: Own day-to-day commercial engagement with contract manufacturers and key component suppliers, including escalation management, risk reviews, and cross-functional decision support.
- Data Analytics and Reporting: Use analytics to generate insights on PCBA sourcing, supply health, inventory exposure, and supplier performance; develop clear executive-level materials that support timely business decisions.
- Risk Mitigation: Evaluate geopolitical, capacity, component availability, and international supply-chain risks that could impact PCBA continuity and implement practical de-risking actions.
- Launch Execution: Support Midsize launch readiness while sustaining supply continuity for Gravity and Air through disciplined execution, issue resolution, and cross-functional alignment.
What You Bring
Required
- 2+ years of experience in supply chain, strategic sourcing, manufacturing, engineering, consulting, finance, data analytics, or a related field.
- Bachelor's degree in a technical, supply chain, finance, business, or related discipline.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex supplier, material, cost, and launch-readiness issues.
- Excellent presentation, interpersonal, and communication skills with sound judgment on stakeholder engagement and escalation.
- Advanced PowerPoint and Excel skills, with the ability to turn data into clear recommendations and executive-ready reporting.
Preferred
- MBA, MS, or advanced degree in finance, international business, engineering, supply chain, or a related technical field.
- Experience with electronics contract manufacturing, PCBA manufacturing processes, semiconductors, or automotive electronics supply chains.
- Prior experience in supply chain analysis, engineering, manufacturing, or managerial/financial consulting.
- Experience working with global suppliers and cross-functional teams across engineering, quality, logistics, finance, legal, and manufacturing.
