Job Title: Manufacturing Support Lead Director

Introduction to role:
This role leads the Manufacturing Support organization across the Singapore manufacturing campus, enabling safe, compliant, reliable and continuously improving operations from project start-up through PPQ and sustainable commercial manufacturing.
Provides strategic and technical leadership across Manufacturing Services, Manufacturing Excellence, Operational Excellence, Technical Excellence, establishing common standards and capabilities across diverse manufacturing technologies. Partners closely with Manufacturing Operations, MSAT, Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, EHS and Digital to resolve complex operational and technical challenges, strengthen equipment and process performance, and establish a One-Campus Manufacturing Support model that enables Manufacturing teams to deliver reliably to patients.
Accountabilities:
- Establish and lead the Manufacturing Support strategy and organization across the campus, from project phase through PPQ and commercial operations.
- Lead Manufacturing Services, including dispensing interfaces, material flow, planning support and cleaning services.
- Drive Manufacturing Excellence, including deviation management, inspection readiness, training, sterility assurance, safety and campus-wide manufacturing standards.
- Lead Operational Excellence, including Lean Manufacturing, target and Tier performance management, Hoshin, productivity, cost improvement and sustainability.
- Build Technical Excellence and equipment reliability, includingtroubleshooting, OEE/TPM, vendor assessment and engineering improvements in partnership with Engineering and MSAT.
- Support Product & Process Lifecycle activities, including NPI, technology transfer, qualification, technical investigations and complex critical issues.
- Drive campus-wide standardization and best-practice sharing, while allowing justified technology-specific differences.
- Ensure Manufacturing Support readiness for start-up and PPQ, including operational readiness, knowledge transfer and project-to-operations handover.
- Build and develop a strong Manufacturing Support team, ensuring the right capabilities and resources are in place as the campus ramps up.
- Partner cross - functionally with Manufacturing Operations, MSAT, Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, EHS and Digital to resolve complex issues and improve Manufacturing performance.
Essential Skills/Experience:
- Bachelor's - degree in Engineering, Science, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related field.
- Strong experience in GMP pharmaceutical/biopharmaceutical manufacturing and manufacturing support.
- Proven leadership of multidisciplinary technical or operational teams.
- Strong capability in operational excellence and equipment/process performance.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively across Manufacturing, Engineering, MSAT, Quality and Supply Chain.
- Strong leadership, stake-holder management and change-management skills.
- Strong focus on safety, quality, and team performance
Desirable Skills/Experience:
- Experience in greenfield/start-up and project-to-commercial transition.
- Experience in Lean/OEE/TPM, technology transfer, NPI and PPQ.
- Experience with digital manufacturing/MES and data-driven performance improvement.
