Job Title: Engineering Technician-Electrical Skilled-I/Skilled-II
Minimum Level of Education: ITI /NCTVT / Diploma + PWD Electrical supervisor license
Minimum Level of Job-Related Experience required: 5 years’ experience working in a pharmaceutical manufacturing/FMCG industry with ability to resolve issues independently in shift. Experience required in HT/LT and Machine automation.
Technical Requirements:
- Electrical breakdown maintenance.
- Preventive maintenance activities.
- Electrical systems maintenance.
- Working with plant electrical infrastructure, including high-voltage distribution systems, Utility Equipment like HVAC system, air compressor, Boiler , chiller etc.
- Basic knowledge of: PLCs, Sensors, HMI systems, Variable Frequency Drive, Servo drive, Automation systems.
Job Purpose:
The job holder is accountable for effectively managing engineering activities in HT, LT ,Value Stream Production Engineering, utility services to ensure delivery of products at an optimal cost as per the agreed upon business requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Attend breakdown.
- Execute day-to-day maintenance activities for equipment in the area of accountability. · Overall basic understanding of process equipment.
- Perform preventive and predictive maintenance for optimum machine performance at minimum cost.
- Perform shift maintenance activities for production Mfg & Packing.
- Adheres strictly to the zero access and safe machine guarding procedures as per the GSK EHS guidelines.
- Ensures execution of jobs by using safe work practices.
- Ensures that permit to work and Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) system is strictly followed in their respective areas of work as per EHS guidelines.
- Active participation to achieve zero accident, zero defect and zero waste for consistently deliver outstanding safety, quality, service and value to the person at the end of our supply chain.
- Suggest improvements for better performance of machines.
- Adherence to applicable Engineering standards to upkeep the responsible areas as per agreed conditions.
- Maintaining all required logbooks up to date as per requirements.
- Preventive maintenance activity entries to be done in Preventive Maintenance Work order sheet as per schedule.
- Timely completion of all mandatory and expected training as well as curricula.
- Daily interaction with production staff and cross-functional team & also Interacting with contractor employees while performing work.
- To ensure the continuous power supply with minimal outage, changeover of MSEDCL power in power failure.
Preferred Industry Background
- Pharma experience is preferred but not mandatory.
- Candidates from:
