Job Description

The 2nd Shift Paint Booth Technician is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient paint booth environment to support production operations. This position performs routine cleaning and maintenance of paint booths, paint equipment, conveyors, and surrounding work areas while following all safety, environmental, and quality standards. The technician plays a critical role in ensuring paint system performance, product quality, and workplace cleanliness.

What you’ll experience on the job:

  • Clean paint booths, walls, floors, grating, and overspray collection systems.
  • Remove paint buildup from fixtures, hooks, racks, conveyors, and associated equipment.
  • Perform daily, weekly, and scheduled deep-cleaning activities within paint operations.
  • Dispose of paint waste and contaminated materials according to company and environmental guidelines.
  • Replace booth filters and assist with preventive maintenance tasks as required.
  • Operate cleaning equipment and tools safely and effectively.

What you’ll bring to the team:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
  • Ability to work safely around paints, solvents, and industrial equipment.
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs
