Kona Kai San Diego Resort is a boutique urban resort located on Shelter Island. With 170 guestrooms, Kona Kai Resort is home to Vessel Restaurant + Bar, SpaTerre, a marina and a private club, all located just minutes from downtown San Diego. We are excited to welcome a new Host/Hostess to our island-inspired resort.

THE JOB:
This role will report to: F&B Manager, Restaurant General Manager & Executive Chef
As a Host/Hostess, you are the first face of the restaurant. You will greet our guests for their memorable meal, manage the flow of the shift, take reservations and more. Your friendly smile will make all the difference in the guest’s first impression.

Qualifications:
- Previous customer service experience preferred
- Positive, upbeat personality works well on a team, desire to learn, and able to multi-task
- Hours will vary-- flexible schedule required
- Attention to details
- Ability to stand long periods of hours
When joining our team as a Host/Hostess, you will be offered:
- Pay rate of $23.81 per hour
- Overtime rate of $35.72per hour
