KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Lead and support the delivery of IFRS 17 Group and BNM reporting in a timely and accurate manner.
- Responsible for IFRS17 business planning deliveries, ensuring alignment with financial targets and strategic assumptions.
- Review and validate actuarial outputs (e.g., BEL, RA, CSM) and ensure consistency with finance-reported results.
- Provide managements insights on financial performance drivers (e.g. NB CSM, OPAT, CSM) to support business decision-making.
- Collaborate across actuarial, finance and IT teams to align methodologies and ensure data integrity.
- Strengthen governance, controls, and documentation around IFRS 17 processes.
- Drive continuous improvement, automation, and efficiency in reporting and analytics processes.
- Lead team development and Support project initiatives related to IFRS 17 enhancements, system changes, new product impacts, and ad-hoc projects.
QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE
- 7-10 years working experience in Actuarial
- Degree Holder in Actuarial Science / Statistics / Mathematics / Economics
- Good progress in Actuarial exams
- Experience in life insurance and/or family takaful actuarial work, with exposure to IFRS17/MFRS17 reporting.
- Demonstrated collaboration, accountability and ability to communicate technical concepts clearly
