You will be part of the Physics and Advanced Applications group at Business Line Neuro, a dedicated research and pre-development group. We investigate future technology and product concepts with a particular focus on physics, optimization, machine learning, and prototype development. Even though we are a research group, software development is at the core of what we do, so we expect you to not only be a skilled researcher but also have experience in good software development practices, preferably in Python.
For this position, we anticipate extended touchpoints to early-stage development of machine learning products, so experience of machine learning pipelines is considered an advantage.
This is an opportunity to use your technical skills to save, or improve, the lives of patients with diseases in the brain, including neurological diseases and cancer.

2+ years of relevant post-PhD research or technology development.
Experience developing machine learning solutions and production-grade ML pipelines.
Strong software development skills, preferably in Python, with sound engineering practices.
Expertise in one or more of physics, optimization, mathematical modelling or machine learning.
Good communication skills in English. Swedish is considered an advantage but is not required.
Curious, collaborative and proactive, with a passion for innovation and patient impact.
What You'll Get
