Job Statement

Genesis is currently seeking applications for Dewatering Technicians to be at the forefront of our Leonora Gold Operation mine.

 

• Lifestyle friendly 8/6 roster
• FIFO from Perth to Leonora

Reporting to the Maintenance Coordinator, you will be responsible for assisting the mining maintenance team to dewater the mine safely and efficiently.

 

This is a full-time permanent opportunity, working 8 days on, 6 days off roster. The role may be Fly-in Fly-out from Perth WA, Drive-in Drive-out from Kalgoorlie or residential in Leonora and Laverton.

 

The opportunity

• Installation, maintenance, and removal of dewatering infrastructure including sumps, trenches, pipes and pumps.
• Carry out preventative maintenance of the dewatering system.
• Carry out fault-finding, diagnosis and repair of damaged pumps, and all dewatering infrastructure.
• Carry out the regular review of maintenance processes and investigate, assess and where appropriate, propose modern technology.
• Prioritise resources and coordinate all unplanned work that arises over the course of the week.

We would love to hear from you if you have​:

• Valid W.A Manual Driver's License.
• Basic Computer skills in Microsoft Office Programs and Pronto would be an advantage.
• HR license, Crane, Dogging, EWP and Forklift tickets would be advantageous to your application.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Dewatering Technician.
