Senior SAP FICA Functional Analyst (Employed or freelance)

📋 Tasks and responsibilities

You will join an ERP team that supports business-critical processes for departments such as HR, Finance, Purchasing, Logistics and Communication. In this role, you contribute to the optimization of working methods and the improvement of user experience by enhancing existing SAP solutions and helping deliver new functionalities.

As a SAP FICA functional analyst, you work closely with stakeholders and the ERP team manager to ensure reliable, maintainable and efficient solutions.

• Analyse change requests and estimate workload and implementation effort.
• Explore and compare different functional solution options.
• Evaluate the impact of proposed changes on the existing systems landscape.
• Help guarantee service continuity and long-term maintainability of the solution.
• Translate specifications into the necessary system adaptations and follow up on developments.
• Update and maintain functional and reference documentation.
• Prepare test plans, coordinate testing activities, monitor quality and support deployments.
• Follow up incidents and problems and contribute to their resolution.

📝 Your profile

• You have solid experience as a functional analyst.
• You have strong hands-on experience with SAP configuration.
• You have proven senior-level experience as a functional analyst within SAP FICA.
• You have experience with SAP S/4HANA.
• You have knowledge of ABAP debugging.
• You have demonstrable experience working with a modelling tool.
• Experience with SAP IS-U is an asset.
• Experience in the energy sector is a strong plus.
• Experience working for a DGO is an advantage.
• You are fluent in at least one of the two national languages, Dutch or French, and you have a good command of the other.
