Description
The YMCA of Greater Richmond is seeking to add a part-time team member to our Human Resources Department. This person will assist our Director of Employee Relations in developing and implementing policies, programs, and initiatives to foster positive employee relations and maintain a healthy work environment. We are looking for a candidate that is availability to work during the hours of 8am-5pm, weekdays. This part-time position has a salary range of $18-$20 per hour, and up to 25 hours a week.
DUTIES
This position will be complete fact-finding interviews as assigned and complete investigations into employee complaints, conflicts, and grievances. Focus will be resolving workplace conflicts, addressing grievances, and promoting effective communication between employees and the YMCA of Greater Richmond. Ability to preform clerical and administrative tasks such as copying, scanning, inventory management and distribution of staff materials is necessary.
QUALIFICATIONS
The successful candidate must have a high school degree or its equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred. Previous Human Resources and employee relations experience required. Strong organizational, communication, interpersonal, and time-management skills. Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook, Team, Sharepoint, One Drive). Ability to manage confidential information with professionalism and discretion. Detail-Oriented with strong follow through and documentation skills. Ability to communicate effectively with staff and stakeholders. Preferred experience with HRIS and workforce management systems (UKG preferred).
