Role Summary
The ESB Lower Level Mail Lead is responsible for the daily coordination and execution of mailroom
operations at the Empire State Building Lower Level.
This role supports the receipt, review, documentation, processing, preparation, delivery, pickup,
shipment, and transport of all mail, parcels, supplies, and business materials moving through the
Mail Center.The Mail Lead is expected to maintain an organized, safe, service-focused, and process-driven
mailroom operation while supporting internal departments, associates, vendors, and management.
This is a lead team position requiring strong follow-through, attention to detail, customer service,
safety awareness, and the ability to support day-to-day workflow across the Lower Level
operation.Key Responsibilities:

Shipping and Courier Processing
Work Orders and Service Requests
Logs, Records and Reporting
Safety and Security
Team Support and Cross Training
QUALIFICATIONS:

Required Skills and Qualifications
Experience in mailroom, shipping, logistics, facilities, office services, or workplace operations
preferred.
Working knowledge of carrier systems such as UPS, FedEx, DHL, or similar platforms
preferred.
Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Ability to follow established process and safety procedures.
Ability to prioritize requests in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to move between hands-on task execution and workflow coordination.
Basic computer skills required.
Ability to work independently while escalating issues appropriately.
Ability to cross-train and support adjacent Workplace Operations functions. -
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, push, pull, and move materials throughout the workday.
Ability to lift and transport boxes, supplies, mail, copy paper, and parcels in accordance with
site safety guidelines.
Ability to perform hands-on receiving, delivery, pickup, sorting, staging, and shipping tasks.
