How to be Successful in the Role:
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in a broad range of technical support to departmental staff in the IT-related areas of desktop support, web development, hardware and network setup, testing, security, inventory, and troubleshooting. Attention to detail and the ability to communicate effectively is critical.

Throughout the onboarding process, you will meet with the Supervisors, teams, and the admin team regularly to discuss expectations, set goals, identify priorities, and gain familiarity with current policies, procedures, and strategic measures. Core Daily Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot and resolve various issues related to workstations and related hardware/software; Establish and/or change passwords for department staff; Provide user account assistance.
- Set up and issue PC’s, laptops, and other hardware to department staff following IT Division standards.
- Assist in setting up department-wide IT project timelines/plans.
- Participate in the research and purchase of computer equipment and supplies.
- Organize and maintain inventory of computer equipment and supplies. Assist with disposal of surplus equipment.

- An Associate’s degree in computer science, data processing, education, public or business administration, engineering, or related field AND
- Two or more years of information technology applications and systems experience is required.
