The (USA) Exterior Services Technician is responsible for managing and executing maintenance and improvement projects across assigned facilities, including landscaping, seasonal snow removal, and equipment servicing. About the team:
The Exterior Services team is dedicated to maintaining Walmart and Sam’s Club properties through expert landscaping and facility upkeep. The team manages budgeting, equipment inspections, and repairs while ensuring compliance with safety standards. Members collaborate to prioritize tasks, implement quality assurance, and support sustainable improvements. Engaging with stakeholders, they deliver efficient solutions that uphold company policies and promote operational excellence. This team’s commitment ensures safe, well-maintained outdoor spaces that align with business objectives and enhance customer satisfaction through continuous improvement and professional service.
What you'll do:

• Prepare and manage budgets by developing cost estimates and approving purchases of parts, materials, and equipment.
• Plan, prioritize, and assign work to ensure timely completion of scheduled projects and maintenance activities.
• Oversee landscaping, snow removal, equipment servicing, and other exterior facility maintenance tasks.
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations while maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
• Lead and coach third-party providers, conduct quality inspections, and manage performance evaluations.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to support business needs and implement process improvements.
• Complete required documentation and submit reports to management.

What you'll bring:

• Proven experience in managing exterior facility services, including landscaping, snow removal, and equipment maintenance.
• Strong ability to develop and execute project plans, prioritize work assignments, and manage workforce needs effectively.
• Knowledge of OSHA and EPA regulations to ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards.
• Skilled in cost control through price comparisons, warranty claims, and resource optimization.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills to address facility user needs and resolve issues promptly.
• Ability to lead third-party providers, conduct quality inspections, and foster professional development.
• Commitment to continuous improvement, adaptability, and collaboration with stakeholders to meet business objectives.

The hourly wage range for this position is $19.00 - $35.00* *The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.
