To continue our standard of excellence, Piedmont is seeking a motivated, reliable professional to join our team as an Aircraft Maintenance Quality Assurance Auditor, Level 1, in our Quality Assurance Department. The primary responsibility of the position is to perform auditing and analysis of internal and external vendors for the company’s maintenance department. This role also maintains the Coordinating Agency for Supplier Evaluation (C.A.S.E.) policies and procedures manual. The successful candidate will have two years of leadership/management experience in maintenance technical operations. This position will report to the Regulatory Compliance Manager, Aircraft Maintenance Quality Assurance.
This position is open to all candidates within a commutable distance of any Piedmont maintenance base.
Essential Duties:
Ensure the objectives of the Quality Assurance Program are met
Develop and revise audits and procedures, ensuring compliance
Perform audits of internal and external vendors for compliance with regulatory requirements
Perform audits of repair and overhaul vendors, fuel vendors, and on-call maintenance providers
Perform C.A.S.E. audits and maintain the company’s sustaining membership status
Maintain C.A.S.E. Policies and Procedures Manual
Perform and coordinate the audit function of the Continuing Analysis Surveillance System (CASS)
Job Qualifications and Competencies:
Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Airframe and Powerplant Certificate, Repairman Certificate, or bachelor’s degree in liberal arts, education, or business
Two (2) years of leadership/management experience in maintenance technical operations
General knowledge of federal regulations regarding maintenance operations
Excellent attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to understand and effectively explain documented procedures and processes
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, other computer-based programs, and computer file management skills
Flexibility to work and organize multiple assignments while meeting project deadlines
Preferred Qualifications:
Three (3) years of Part 121 airline maintenance operations experience
Work Environment:
Standard office environment, use of telephones, computers, and other office equipment
Extensive travel may be required
Physical Requirements:
Occasional lifting up to 25 pounds

Starting Rate:
$73,447.00/Annual Salary - 107,700.00/Annual Salary (Based on locale and experience)All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or veteran status.
