ICU Registered Nurse (RN) - Day Shift

Up to $20,000 Sign-On Bonus

Mercy Hospital Washington is hiring an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) on the day shift.

Position Details

• Job Title: ICU Registered Nurse (RN)

• Department: Intensive Care Unit (ICU)

• Location: Mercy Hospital Washington, Washington, Missouri

• Schedule: Full-Time

• Hours: 36 hours per week

• Shift: Days

• Sign-On Bonus: Up to $20,000 for qualified experienced nurses

ICU Nurse Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of ICU nursing experience required

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license

• Missouri RN license or Compact State RN license accepted

• Strong critical care, assessment, and communication skills

• Ability to work in a fast-paced hospital environment

• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods

Required Certifications

• Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire

• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)

• Additional unit-specific certifications as required

About the ICU

• 13-bed Intensive Care Unit (ICU)

• 6-bed Transitional Care Unit (TCU)

The ICU cares for patients with a wide range of critical illnesses and diagnoses, providing excellent opportunities to develop advanced clinical skills, critical thinking, and critical care nursing expertise. The Transitional Care Unit supports patients transitioning from intensive care or requiring enhanced monitoring and treatment.
