Job Summary:

The Information Technology (IT) Manager, Business Analysis and Environment, Health, Safety, and Quality (EHSQ) Applications leads enterprise application, business analysis, product ownership, vendor management, data and analytics, and digital transformation capabilities supporting EHSQ, Manufacturing, Physical Security, and Laboratory operations. This role partners with business and technology leaders to define strategy, govern application portfolios, manage investments, and deliver reliable solutions that improve operational effectiveness, strengthen compliance, and create measurable business value. The role supports major enterprise transformation initiatives while leading the IT workstream, including solution design, integration, data, governance, vendor coordination, testing, deployment readiness, and technology-enabled process improvement.

Job Description:

Major Responsibilities

Strategy and Governance

• Lead the strategy, governance, and delivery of business applications that support EHSQ management systems, physical security, and laboratory operations.
• Serve as product owner and business relationship manager for assigned application portfolios, developing multi-year roadmaps aligned with business priorities and technology strategy.
• Partner with business leaders, IT, and the EHS Technology Product Council, a cross-functional governance forum, to prioritize technology demand, strengthen the EHS IT strategy, and advance opportunities for operational improvement, automation, analytics, artificial intelligence, and digital capability.

Transformation and Delivery

• Support major enterprise technology transformation initiatives while leading the IT workstream, including application modernization, platform implementation, laboratory systems enablement, data and analytics solutions, integration planning, testing, deployment readiness, and process standardization.
• Lead business analysis activities, including requirements gathering, process improvement, solution design, testing, implementation support, and change readiness.
• Oversee data management, reporting, analytics, dashboards, and emerging technology evaluations that improve operational and strategic decision making.

Leadership, Value, and Risk

• Lead business case development, software evaluations, vendor selections, contract support, vendor relationships, service performance oversight, and technology partnerships.
• Manage project and application budgets, forecasting, capitalization planning, financial reporting, and alignment of technology investments with business priorities and expected value.
• Ensure cybersecurity, regulatory, audit, and corporate governance requirements are embedded in application strategy, delivery, and ongoing support.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to employees, contractors, consultants, and cross-functional project teams while building productive relationships with industry peers, vendors, analysts, and consultants.

Supervisory Relationships

• Position Reports To: Vice President - IT Applications
• Subordinate Positions: Business analysts, product owners, contractors, consultants, and related project resources as assigned.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, business, engineering, or a related field.
• 10 to 15 years of progressively responsible experience in business systems analysis, application management, product ownership, or technology leadership roles.
• Strong understanding of business processes, enterprise applications, application lifecycle management, and technology-enabled process improvement.
• Experience leading technology initiatives, vendor relationships, strategic projects, and cross-functional delivery teams.
• Knowledge of project management, business analysis, change management, and governance practices. Relevant certifications such as Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP), product management, data analytics, artificial intelligence, or technology governance credentials are preferred.
• Demonstrated experience with data analytics, reporting, dashboards, and emerging technologies.
• Experience supporting large-scale enterprise transformation programs and leading related IT workstreams, including application portfolio strategy, solution delivery, integration planning, vendor coordination, and business-led technology initiatives.
• Strong leadership, communication, networking, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build alignment, support effective decisions, and deliver measurable business value through employees, contractors, consultants, and cross-functional initiatives.

• Enterprise Scope: Leads a broad technology portfolio supporting Manufacturing, EHSQ, physical security, laboratory, data, and analytics capabilities across plants, distribution centers, and corporate teams.
• Stakeholder Impact: Serves as a trusted business partner who aligns business and technology priorities, engages senior stakeholders, and communicates complex concepts clearly.
• Role Complexity: Leads cross-functional initiatives that require strategic thinking, independent judgment, and integration of business, technology, financial, operational, and compliance considerations.
• Decision Authority: Makes decisions on IT workstream direction, solution approach, application roadmaps, governance practices, vendor recommendations, and portfolio priorities while influencing enterprise technology investments.
• Financial Accountability: Manages project and application budgets, supports capital planning, oversees vendor spending, and ensures technology investments align with business priorities and expected value.
• Enterprise Impact: Shapes roadmap priorities, governance maturity, digital transformation outcomes, and measurable business value across manufacturing, laboratory, physical security, data, and analytics capabilities.

The estimated base pay for the position is typically between $111,400 - 156,800

The actual base pay for the position may be influenced by factors such as education, training, skills, qualifications, competencies, years of experience, job-related knowledge, and scope of the role, and could be outside of the posted pay range.
