Job Description:
Blake Willson Group is seeking a Grants Management Analyst to support complex federal grants management and program operations. The successful candidate will bring hands-on experience supporting federal grant programs, coordinating complex workgroups and workstreams, and managing multiple stakeholders and competing priorities in a consulting environment. In this position, you will also:
- Manage and support complex federal grants management activities.
- Coordinate multiple workgroups and cross-functional workstreams, ensuring activities, milestones, dependencies, and deliverables remain on track.
- Support program planning, implementation, monitoring, and continuous improvement activities.
- Collaborate with federal program staff, internal teams, subject matter experts, and other stakeholders.
- Use grants management systems and related tools to track applications, awards, reporting, data, and program activities.
- Apply knowledge of federal grants processes and requirements to identify issues, develop solutions, and support program objectives.
- Develop and maintain work plans, schedules, status reports, meeting materials, documentation, and other program deliverables.
- Facilitate meetings and workgroups, document decisions and action items, and follow through on commitments.
- Identify risks, dependencies, and potential roadblocks and proactively communicate them to project leadership.
- Manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and deliverables in a fast-paced consulting environment.
- Contribute to a collaborative, team-oriented consulting environment and support additional project activities as needed.
Required Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience supporting federal grants management or grant programs, including experience working with grants management systems.
- 2+ years of experience coordinating projects, workgroups, or program workstreams involving multiple stakeholders, with the ability to manage competing priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.
- 2+ years of experience in a consulting, federal agency, government program, or similar environment, with strong organizational, analytical, communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.
Desired Skills:
- Experience supporting federal grants management, program operations, or consulting engagements, preferably within agricultural, research, higher education, or veterinary medicine programs.
- Experience working with federal grants management system and/or supporting data collection workstreams.
- Experience coordinating multiple interconnected workstreams and workgroups within large or complex federal programs, including stakeholder engagement and facilitation.
- Experience developing processes, SOPs, dashboards, reports, or other tools to improve grants and program management operations.
