Description
At Easterseals PORT Health (ESPH), our mission is rooted in empowering individuals and strengthening communities. We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Direct Care Technician, for Full-Time, First Shift (8am, - 4pm including every other weekend) to join our team at our Facility Based Clinic in Washington, NC.

Your Role in Our Mission
As a Direct Care Technician, on the team you will be responsible for providing and maintaining a therapeutic and safe group environment and attending to the welfare and basic needs of clients. You will provide informal counseling in the detox center that involve behavioral techniques, reality therapy, supportive encouragement and socialization skills for the clients.

Schedule
- Full time: First Shift: 8am - 4pm during the week and every other weekend
Compensation & Benefits
- Competitive Salary: $16.82/hr. for these full-time positions

What We’re Looking For
- Entry-level, on-the-job training is provided
- High school diploma or GED is required
- Peer support certification or CNA certification a plus, but is not required
- Maintain valid state appropriate driver’s license and auto insurance for personal and agency vehicles utilized for work
