Job Summary:
Manages and develops the Virtual Design and Construction (VDC) function across a portion of the business unit to drive cross-functional performance and achieve strategic objectives. Applies advanced VDC expertise and vocal leadership to articulate the value of model-based workflows, optimize project delivery through cross-functional integration, and ensure issues are solved before they impact construction. Shapes organizational outcomes by developing customer-focused strategies to differentiate DPR's VDC practices, allocating resources and improving processes to optimize for cost, quality, and schedule. Partners with executive leadership and diverse stakeholders to interpret and implement VDC initiatives, recommend changes, and ensure alignment with broader business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversees the VDC function across assigned teams by driving excellence in project deliverables and advancing talent development.
Continuously engages with front-line VDC resources to identify and mitigate barriers to success, balances workloads, and supports learning & development to accelerate their growth.
Develops accurate estimates for VDC and forecasts, documents and statuses the effort for VDC resources to support organizational goals and industry leading practices.
Manages and reviews achievement of VDC performance indicators to support the customer and project needs, estimates the ROI, and facilitates the sharing of knowledge through success stories and lessons learned.
Fosters collaboration, partnerships, and the sharing of information and expertise within VDC and with other workgroups to advance organizational VDC capabilities.
Education Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, a related field, or equivalent experience required.
Work Experience:
8+ years of experience in VDC, Building Information Modeling (BIM), or a related field required.
2 - 4 years of experience in a managerial capacity required.
Certifications and Licenses:
None required.
Anticipated starting pay range:
