Senior Manager Global Intelligence & Threat AnalysisReq ID:
10159752Job Description:
About the Role:
The Sr Manager, Global Intelligence & Threat Analysis is a strategic people leader within Disney Corporate, responsible for shaping and driving a world-class intelligence function that protects our people, stories, and operations around the globe. This role leads multiple related teams that identify emerging threats, assess evolving risks, and deliver actionable intelligence that supports executive decision-making, enterprise security preparedness, and risk-informed outcomes across Disney's global operations.
As a Senior Manager in Global Intelligence you will…
Provide strategic direction and day-to-day leadership for a global intelligence and threat analysis capability, overseeing professional staff and leaders who monitor, assess, and communicate risks impacting executives, employees, productions, events, and operations worldwide. You will align intelligence priorities with corporate objectives, allocate resources across multiple teams, and ensure intelligence outputs are insightful, timely, and operationally relevant, helping Disney anticipate threats, understand changing risk conditions, and make informed decisions before issues affect our people, operations, productions, events, or guests. This role requires a strategic leader who can think ahead, prioritize effectively, develop talent, and collaborate across the enterprise to deliver high-quality intelligence in a dynamic risk environment.
- Lead and mentor intelligence team leads and professional staff responsible for monitoring current security conditions, supporting executive and high-profile activity security requirements, and identifying emerging risks and future threats, setting clear priorities, expectations, and direction aligned with company goals and evolving risk landscapes.
- Define and oversee intelligence requirements, collection plans, and analytical priorities that support executive protection, major events, productions, and enterprise security operations.
- Oversee the production and review of high-quality, forward-looking assessments and finished intelligence products that translate complex information into clear, actionable insights for senior stakeholders.
- Guide the development and continuous improvement of threat analysis methodologies, tools, policies, and processes, ensuring intelligence outputs remain objective, rigorous, and operationally relevant.
- Collaborate closely with partners across Global Security and business segments to provide intelligence that informs integrated, risk-informed security strategies and decision-making.
- Expand intelligence coverage across reputational, online, and executive-risk domains, partnering with Communications, Public Affairs, and Brand teams to identify emerging issues, assess potential security implications, and provide intelligence that supports the protection of Disney's people, operations, and other protected interests.
- Establish and maintain strategic relationships with external partners, including law enforcement, government agencies, and industry peers, to improve situational awareness and benchmark against leading practices.
- Lead cross-functional intelligence initiatives and forums that strengthen collaboration and knowledge-sharing across the broader Disney intelligence community.
- Maintain and advance intelligence governance, including requirements management, analytic standards, tradecraft, product quality, and intelligence program capabilities.
- Serve as the senior intelligence lead during significant incidents and crisis events, providing expert analysis, strategic guidance, and intelligence support to decision-makers and response teams.
- Inspire individual and team success by setting a clear vision, encouraging collaboration and shared ownership, and helping team members connect their work to Disney's broader mission and values.
- Deliver continuous coaching, feedback, and development opportunities that strengthen analytical tradecraft, leadership capability, and succession readiness, enabling team members to grow their skills and advance their careers.
- Foster a collaborative, inclusive, and high-performing culture where diverse perspectives are valued, trust and accountability are encouraged, and team members understand how their work supports Disney's people, operations, and business priorities.
Here is what you will need to be successful in the role…
- 7+ years of relevant experience in intelligence, security, or related fields, with at least 3 years in a management role—ideally including experience overseeing team leads or other managers.
- Proven expertise leading or managing complex intelligence, threat analysis, or security programs—including setting priorities, allocating resources, and mentoring team leads and professional staff—with a strong track record of producing finished intelligence that informs executive and operational decision-making.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to synthesize diverse data sources into concise, objective, and actionable assessments tailored to senior stakeholders.
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills, including experience briefing executives and cross-functional partners on complex threat and risk issues.
- Strong decision-making skills and adaptability, with the ability to prioritize effectively and act with minimal direction in dynamic or high-pressure situations.
- Advanced proficiency with core productivity tools (e.g., Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and a strong aptitude for learning and applying AI-enabled tools and platforms to strengthen analytic tradecraft and efficiency—recognizing this is a rapidly evolving space for the entire team.
- Ability to build and sustain collaborative relationships across complex, matrixed organizations and with external partners, influencing without formal authority where needed.
Education is important to us, here is what we are looking for…
- Bachelor's degree in Political Science, Intelligence Studies, International Relations/Global Studies, Criminal Justice, Homeland Security/National Security Studies, Geography, or a related field; equivalent experience considered.
It would be a plus if you had these skills…
- Experience leading an intelligence mission, capability, or analytical portfolio focused on protective intelligence, counterintelligence, or geopolitical/enterprise risk analysis.
- Active involvement in professional associations and public-private information-sharing forums—such as AIRIP, ATAP, or OSAC—that advance collaboration between corporate and government intelligence communities.
- Master's degree in Intelligence Studies, Security Studies, International Relations, Political Science, Criminal Justice, Public Policy, Risk Management, or a related field.
